I'm Pedro de Matos. I live in São Paulo, where I write great software.

I remember when I was a kid I always felt pleasure crafting stuff for someone to use, that would make their life better. And this still is one of the things that I still enjoy doing, the number one is spending time with my kids.

When I started growing up I found many things that could give me that pleasure, like creating fantasy worlds in RPG for others to play, talking about RPG another thing that I really like is playing games. And it was through games that I had my first interaction with programming.

The first contact with programming that I had was in ruby through RGSS in RPG Maker XP, but it was frustrating to not really understand it, so after many tries, when it worked I fell in love with programming, but I gave up on game programming and started playing with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, which is my favorite stack until the current days.

I've been a full stack engineer for about 6 years now and I worked with some languages through the road, like Java, Go, Python, and PHP. But my specialty and favorite language is javascript and all of its ecosystems like React, Vue, Node, and obviously HTML and CSS. So even though I worked as a full stack I still love front-end, and whenever I got some time I like to play with it and develop something fun.
